ST. Louis Catholic Church

Outside the church, many news reporters were gathered, ready to capture the beautiful moments of the wedding.

The church was beautifully designed and decorated. Everyone who entered the church premises was dressed in designer clothes.

Cars were parked in and around the church grounds, and they were not ordinary cars. Expensive vehicles of different models filled the area—SUVs, Porsche, Ferrari, G-Wagons, and Bentleys.

It was a simple indication that those invited to the wedding were the country’s wealthiest men and women.

Outside the church, Mr. Jones was standing and chatting with one of the guests when he saw Mr. Morel and his family approaching.

Excusing himself, he walked toward them.

“Mr. Morel,” he said the moment he reached them, stretching out his hand to greet him.

“Mr. Jones,” Mr. Morel replied, shaking his hand.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologize for what my younger son did to your daughter. I am sorry for my daughter’s bad behavior.”

“It’s fine, Mr. Jones. All that matters is that the problem has been solved and we are all here for the wedding.”

“Yes, that’s true.”

“Greetings, Uncle,” Jonathan said as he walked toward Mr. Jones and gave him a hug.

“Greetings, my son. You know you need to stop calling me uncle because you are about to marry my daughter. Why don’t you call me father instead?” Mr. Jones said.

“Greetings, Father,” Jonathan said.

“Good boy. From today onward, you are the son I never had, and I am happy to welcome you into my family.”

“Thanks, sir… sorry… thanks, Dad.”

“It’s fine.”

“I think we should all go inside because I’m sure the bride will be arriving soon.”

Just as he finished speaking, a beautifully decorated Lamborghini drove into the church premises. Lily was inside.

The car stopped in front of the church entrance.

Seeing the car arrive, everyone began moving inside the church, including the members of the Morel family.

The photographers quickly prepared their cameras to capture pictures of the bride.

Once everyone had entered the church, the doors were closed.

Ten minutes later, the doors opened again.

The flower girl and flower boy walked in first. Then the bridesmaids and groomsmen followed one after another. There were ten bridesmaids and ten groomsmen, all from wealthy families.

A few minutes later, the ring bearer—a little boy—walked in.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for.

The church choir immediately changed the song, and with the soft melody of the piano, the music filled the church beautifully.

At that moment, Lily appeared at the church entrance. She wore her long, elegant wedding gown, and a veil covered her face as she slowly walked toward the altar.

When she reached the middle of the aisle, she placed her arm around her father’s arm, and together they continued walking toward the altar.

At the altar, Jonathan stood watching her as she approached. His eyes followed her every step, admiring how beautiful she looked.

When they reached him, Mr. Jones gently placed Lily’s hand into Jonathan’s hand.

“Take very good care of her,” he said before walking away to his seat.

Jonathan and Lily held hands as they walked to the center of the altar where the priest stood.

After several prayers and words from the priest, he asked Jonathan to say his wedding vows, which he did. Then Lily also said hers.

The priest then asked:

“Do you, Mr. Jonathan Morel, take Miss Lily Jones as your lawful wedded wife, to love and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, till death do you part?”

“I do,” Jonathan answered.

Then the priest turned to Lily.

“Do you, Miss Lily Jones, take Mr. Jonathan Morel as your lawful wedded husband to—”

“I do!” Lily quickly answered before the priest could even finish his statement.

The entire church burst into laughter.

The priest then asked if there was anyone who opposed the marriage and wished to speak now or forever remain silent.

There was complete silence.

Seeing that no one objected, the priest asked for the wedding rings, and they were brought forward.

He turned to Jonathan.

“Repeat after me: I, Jonathan Morel, take you Lily Jones as my lawful wedded wife, to love you, protect you, stand by you, and provide for you, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

Jonathan repeated the words and placed the ring on Lily’s left ring finger.

Then the priest turned to Lily.

“Repeat after me: I, Lily Jones, take you Jonathan Morel as my lawful wedded husband, to love, respect, support, build, and cherish, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

Lily repeated the words and placed the ring on Jonathan’s left ring finger.

The priest then said,

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”

They kissed briefly, and then they both turned toward the guests, showing their wedding rings to the crowd.

A few hours later, the mass ended, and everyone went outside for the wedding photos.

Lily was now Mrs. Lily Jonathan Morel.

Outskirts Hospital

At one of the best hospitals on the outskirts of the city, a nurse was seen coming out of the operating room when a man stopped her.

“Nurse, how is the patient?” the man asked.

“I’m sorry, sir. I can’t say anything right now. I have to go,” she replied before walking away.

A few minutes later, she returned carrying a tray. A bag of blood was on it.

Ignoring the man, she quickly walked back into the operating room.

“Nurse, did you see the blood I asked for?” the doctor asked.

“Yes, doctor. Luckily for us, we had this extra blood in the blood bank,” the nurse replied.

“Bring it quickly. She has lost a lot of blood, and half of her face needs emergency surgery,” the doctor said as he took the blood and administered it to the patient.

Immediately, the patient began responding to the treatment.

“She’s lucky it’s only half of her face that got burned,” the doctor said.

“We need to start the surgery,” he added.

The medical team immediately began working on her face.

So that's why we came back. I think she remembered something. That's why she fainted.”“The doctor is right. I know you must be happy that she was regaining her memories, but note that her fainting every time she has flashes of her memories is going to be a normal occurrence,” the doctor said.Calvin stared at him, his eyes filled with concern.“Doctor,” he began.“Don't worry much
