Chapter 2

In the Principal's office a woman was shouting and beside her was her husband and son whose hand was having a bandage with some bruises on his face while there was a girl about 4 years old standing quietly on the other side of the wall and was looking down.

The woman shouts again "I want to meet this brat's guardian, how dare she hit my son?"

Principal tries to calm her "Mrs. Verma please calm down, we had called her mother and she would be on her way."

She just completed her sentence when the door of her office opens and Zoya enters with an air of arrogance and elegance around her.

"Miss Siddiqui, you are finally here. Actually…"

But Zoya doesn't acknowledge anyone and directly goes to the girl and bends on her knees and looks at her carefully and asks softly "Princess, are you alright?"

The softness in her voice was completely different to the coldness she used before.

The girl who heard this question nods her head slowly but the woman shouts again "She is perfectly alright but she beats my son, she…"

Zoya shows her forefinger then turns to that woman "I haven't finished my talk!"

The woman gets intimidated then Zoya again turns to the girl and asks "Did you hit that boy?" To which she nods, the woman is about to say something but her husband grabs her hand to stop her.

Zoya continues to inquire "Why Princess?"

But in response the girl was silent and was still looking down then Zoya again asks solemnly "I'm asking something Mehak Siddiqui"

Mehak understands that her mother is serious, that's why called her by her full name.

Mehak looks at Zoya and says "Mumma, he was making fun of me, saying that I'm a bad girl, that's why my father is not with me." her eyes were red as she was controlling her tears but a sob escaped from her.

When Zoya heard these words and Mehak's sob turns to the boy and looks at the boy then stares at him dangerously as she will eat him alive to which he hides behind his mother and in defence her mother says "So what wrong he said, in our a girl without a father is a fatherless child and her and you are her mother but principal called you Miss so you are a single mother" She smirks as she taunts and continues "Principal sir, how can you allow a child whose origin is unknown, children like her will create a bad effect on our child…" but stops with Zoya's dangerous voice "Mr. Verma if you don't stop your wife's shit like mouth in a second then in the next second you are going to receive legal notice from ZoMeR Law Firm" saying that she removes her hands which she kept on Mehak's both ears then stands up and listening to her words Mr. Verma stands up "And I'm sure you don't want that." Then she caresses Mehak's head and says "Princess, wait for me at the playground. I'll come in a while, okay?"

To which she nods her head then Zoya kisses on her head and Mehak goes outside.

The moment Mehak goes out from the door Zoya's smile vanishes and her eyes turn cold.

She goes to that woman and stands in front of her "Now say, what you were saying in front of my daughter? You think that you have a man with a title of husband so you are the purest person?" She goes close to her and mutters "You want me to tell your deeds to your husband or your husband's deed to you in front of your so"

The woman's eyes becomes wide and she goes pale with Zoya's words and loses her balance but her husband holds her.

The woman anxiously holds her husband's hand and says "We are leaving from here, let's go."

The boy tries to protest "But Mom, Mehak

has beaten me."

Mrs. Verma "You provoked her first!"

Seeing her response Zoya smirks and says "Don't forget to apologize to her before leaving, I will ask her"

Mrs. Verma nods her head "I… I… understand"

The Verma family goes from there, Principal says from behind "Miss Siddiqui, Mehak's complaints had already reached to the higher ups" Zoya turns to him then orders "I don't want this boy in this school"

The Principal gets shocked and says "But Miss Siddiqui…"

Zoya cuts him off "I think you are forgetting who is responsible for this school's funding moreover this school is not for these kind of arrogant students, I'm sure you will keep your promise."

With the reminder of promise the principal becomes quite and simply nods his head.

"Have a good day" Zoya says with satisfaction and started to go and while walking she calls someone "Give Mr. and Mrs. Verma's pictures to the press and send a letter from court to his company with the charge of using bad quality materials during construction, I will take care of the other things"

Saying this she cancels the call and remembers Mehak's red eyes and her fist tightens around her phone then says "Wrong or Right, it doesn't matter if they are family."
