Chapter Five

Entering her old bedroom Piper stepped back in time. Her room was exactly the same as the day she'd left. Even the posters of Bruno Mars and Katy Perry still adorned her walls. Piper made a mental note to ensure she took them down. It was incredibly embarrassing for a woman of her age to still have her bedroom littered with her teenage self!

Piper stood looking in the mirror - her hair was still a deep auburn that fell past her shoulders. Her eyes were a deep shade of blue and her skin was still as pale as the day she was born. In her eyes, she had always looked unremarkable, but people always commented on how beautiful she was. At a size 16 and 5ft, 9 Piper was what you would politely call curvaceous - at least that's what she had been told by her lovers in the past. Well if you could count only 2 men as lovers. She had even been likened to a younger Christina Hendricks on more than one occasion. If only!

She hadn't always looked like this. As a teenager, she was too thin and tomboyish and her breasts didn't start to come in until her late teens. When they did finally pop out to say hello she kept them covered with baggy tops. It was only when she started Uni and lost her virginity that she finally found the courage to start dressing in slightly more revealing clothes.

Piper even managed to lose her virginity during freshers week to a guy called Tom. It was unmarkable and a love affair certainly didn't follow. She saw him around from time to time but had no desire to repeat the experience. If that was all sex had to offer then she would rather leave it.

That was until she met Professor Dale Ridgeley in her last year of Uni. Piper shuddered as thoughts of him came back.

That was a memory she wasn't ready to relive just yet.
