Chapter Twenty One

What a night with Cleo, Will mused. It was definitely the best way to end a night of drinking. It was just a shame that it wasn't Piper who had shared his bed and his body. 

He knew he would have to tread carefully where Piper was concerned or he could end up with a swift, sharp slap across the face. She was a lady who would need romancing, which wasn't something he was used to doing. 

When he normally found a target, he just went straight in and told them what he was looking for; no relationship and no romance, just simple sex between two mutual like-minded people. But Piper was also his dear friend, and for that, she deserved his respect.

Will decided to bite the bullet and called Piper to arrange a date.
