17 - Guilt

Siddarth's POV

Early morning when I came back to my room I find Nivi lying on her usual place but on bare floor. A fear generated inside me because the way she was lying I felt she is unconscious. I quickly went to her side and knelt down to check on her. I heard her mourning voice when I removed some hair strands from her face. There were few bruises on neck side. Thank God yesterday she turned her face before I hit on her face.

Suddenly alarm began to ring in it's maximum volume and I found Nivi frowning her face. I quickly pressed the alarm and switch it off but Nivi already opened her eyes. Seeing me beside her unexpectedly she quickly tried to get up from floor but fell on back screaming with pain.

That's when I noticed her hands it seemed violent in color which clearly showed my yesterday's madness. She turned to a side with much difficulty groaning and making sounds. Then again tried to wake up but this time also failed miserably. I held her both hands gently and helped to wake
