Chapter 9

I was suddenly woken up when I heard a small voice that seemed to be talking on the other side of where I am right now.

I slowly opened my eyes and when I was able to do that completely, I was also able to hear well the voices that I had just heard vaguely earlier.

"How is she, Doc?" Asked by a voice that came from a woman

"She is doing good but she still needs a lot of rest right now, Doña Amanda. If ever that her fever still does not go down later this evening, I advise you to take her to the hospital right away." I heard those words from the voice of a man.

"Okay, Doc. Thank you so much."
