Chapter Fifty Six
(Christian POV)
I throw the tie down on the bed and decide that I will skip it for tonight as I slip on my jacket. It is traditional for the high ranking pack members to dress for events in something that has their pack colors. Tonight I am wearing a black shirt, pants and shoes. My suit jacket is a deep scarlet velvet material with a black satin lapel. I look back at the scarlet tie that is disposed of on the bed again before turning to leave my room.
I make my way to the backyard where the ball is taking place and see a large dance floor set up in the center of tables decorated in various different colors with fall centerpieces. I begin to mingle around talking to other Alphas the whole time keeping my eyes on the search for one Alpha in particular.
