Chapter 19 - Laurel
“Why?” words struck me when I heard Mairin is no longer in their singing group. It sounds impossible for her to be out since she was one of the most popular members in their group.
“The management gets angry with her demands. It is way too impossible that she wanted everything she wants or else she will sign a contract to Drayce. And she left. We have no news of her whereabouts. But the only thing we know about her, Drayce didn’t take her.”
It is true. Drayce did not take her. And that day she visited Drayce was the last day I have heard and seen her. The day she left Drayce’s place, she was madly blaming me for her situation. I know Mairin. She cannot accept any defeat. I was thinking she will be back to get revenge or anything that can make her good by taking me down, but where is she? Is she taking a vacation from the public? That is sound too good.

A week was a blur. I finally received my invitation for the first debut music album. Nervous but I was excited. I did not hesitate to sign the contract. Living with a God Chapter 1 - Being the Backstage
As I walk through the open arena door, the smell of stale lager and sweat arises. Crowds already gathered in an indoor concert, I could see the heat, and the atmosphere filled with excitement, but the lights have not yet dim for the main act; the stage is visible even from the back for its performers.
