Leon POV

'Alpha, she's shifting. She fucking shifting in the human hospital.' I heard Marcus shout through the link.

'Shit, are you sure Marcus?' I snapped back.

'Positive, but if she doesn't know what she is, this will be her first shift. This will be hell for her'

The first shift is the hardest for everyone. The first time every bone in your body snaps and rearranges, you will not have ever felt pain like it, but in a pack you're taught about these things. You're prepared as you grow, and she's going to go through this alone.
