Abby POV
As I started leading Damien up to our suite, I got the feeling he had no idea what was going on until we got to the second floor and he said, "Are you tired, tiny mate?" I giggled and said, "Nope. Race you to our suite!" and I took off running as fast as I could. We got to the third-floor landing, and he grabbed me around the waist. I turned to face him and jumped for him to catch me. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and he carried me that way the rest of the way to our suite.
When we got in our suite, I kissed him with such passion that he started growling. I pulled back and noticed that Zolten was trying to come forward. I said, "Patience Zolten" and he retreated and let Damien come forward. Damien said, "I have to tell you something.

Today is the day of the ceremony that will make me the official Luna and Kayla the official Beta Female. The packs have really made us proud over the past few days. Our pack has had two small rogue attacks and Cold Springs Pack has had three. We have had no injuries or deaths in any of the attacks. There were no survivors among the rogues. I have left orders with both packs that we need at least one prisoner to make sure my suspicions are correct on where the attacks are originating from.
