Chapter 25: An Unexpected Meeting
“Time to get up, Ishida,” a voice said to Ishida in the middle of the night. “Get dressed and come with me. I have something— or rather— someone important to take you to. I will be waiting for you outside.”
The door to the cabin was then shut with a soft creak.

Now, let us wind back the hands of the clock to the afternoon of the day before, when Karlos Monte, lieutenant of the Medietan Land Army and commander of the Medietan 33rd Battalion was having a conversation with a messenger on the deck of an old troopship on which five hundred soldiers under Lieutenant Monte’s command had embarked.
