The palace was full of life and kicked off celebration of the King's birthday, even though preparations were done hurriedly.
It was evening when proper celebrations started, the King was very happy and everyone could see it.

Odessa slammed the book shut and gave both of them a cold piercing glare. They stopped moving momentarily.“What?” Odessa had decided to end the obvious malice instead of reading nothing in pretence of concentrating.She dropped the book on her lap and glared at them for a longer time.“You took a long while to get her here Zane. Why? And I didn't hear a report from you.” Odessa knew there was no use to her question, they were already here, and that's all that mattered.“Getting into the palace wasn't easy under the watchful eyes of their sorcerer.
