Chapter 10

Louis walked home drowned in his own thoughts, it was still early and he had few minutes to get ready for the market.

He walked into his room and picked his piggy bank from where he hid it breaking it open.

Louis picked up his phone and called Selena informing her that he would bring the money to her house later in the evening.

"You can't be serious Louis" his mother said walking into the room.

"What do you mean mother?" He forced the money into his pocket.

"We have pressing needs here at home yet you want to take your savings to a girl?" She asked angrily.

"Mother, her sister is very ill and she needs my help" he answered.

"Are you too blind to see that Selena isn't for you? She's destroying Louis" she said bitterly.

"Enough mother!" He cautioned.

His mother grabbed him forcing the money out of his pocket.

"Mother let me have my money back!" He yelled.

"Your father's medications needs to be replaced or would you rather allow yo
