He was mad at her. But mostly angry was with himself, who was still missing her so badly, his body was asking for her, but his selfishness and pride prevailed, his anger for her betrayal and the thought that everything she had told him was just a big lie to achieve her purpose.

Lies, all lies. Her feelings for him. Her need for him. All terrible lies.

He left the glass on the table noisily and sank his head in his hands. With the innocence of her gaze, she managed to convince him. With the sweetness of her eyes, she made him her prisoner. H
