Chapter 9: Dead end

Grainne brought the food to the table and called Patrick and his classmates over for dinner.

"Patrick, drink the soup first, then eat the rice, and give this bowl to your classmates." Grainne scooped up two bowls of soup. One gave it to Patrick. The other gave it to his classmate. The only fish spontaneously picked up inside. Patrick's bowl "Sister, you should eat fish too" Patrick wanted to split the herring in half but stopped Grainne using chopsticks. "Eat it. I already ate fish at noon at work. Now I don't want to continue in the evening. Don't eat fish anymore."

Grainne calmly lied very naturally. At noon she eats neither fish nor meat. She only ate vegetarian rice because she wanted to save money. Grainne quietly drank millet porridge and brought the dish in front of Patrick and his classmates.

"You guys should eat a lot! How are you? Can't the food I make be eaten?

"No, it's not, the food you make is delicious," Patrick's classmate said hastily.
