Caleb's POV

"Caleb we are under attack! The dark moon has infiltrated our pack and is moving in past our borders" My father shouted at me as we both stormed out of the packhouse. 'The dark moon pack devours packs...were doomed.' I could not help thinking about it on our way to the exit.

The night was dark and cold leaving an eerie feeling in the air. Our land is one of poverty so attacking us will gain them nothing. It was bound to happen with the pathetic excuse of an Alpha we have.

Beta Charlie stood outside the pack house waiting for us to go approach the battle.

"There are too many of them Alpha if we run now we might survive!" Charlie spoke. "No! No other pack will take us. Not this way!" My father shouted furiously before shifting and heading toward the battle.
