Chapter 119: Story of the Past

The next morning, Hans received a phone call from Director Jackson. They would be meeting with Professor Clinton, a historian, and an antique collector. According to Director Jackson, he was the one who examined the drawing and concluded that it must be from the Kingdom of Heathern.

They agreed to meet at the restaurant near the hospital where Hans was working. As Hans glanced at his watch, he noticed that it was almost 1 in the afternoon and the meeting time was at pm. He walked out of his office and asked the nurse who was outside, “Do I have another patient scheduled this afternoon?”

The nurse checked her computer and looked at the patient’s list. After checking it twice, she looked up and said, “There’s none Dr. Lee. You are free this whole afternoon. Your next appointment is still tomorrow at 8.”

Hans nodded and went back inside. He immediately took off his doctor’s robe and took his bag from the chair. Before he went to the restaurant, he took a turn to Jonathan’s office first.
