Chapter 53: Long Time No See Hans

Dr. Lee went back to his usual work. Doing surgery, doing check-ups, and doing his usual rounds in the hospital.

For this day, he had already finished two major surgeries earlier in the day. The first one was heart bypass surgery for a man in his mid-thirties, while the other was gallbladder removal.

He had been so busy. He didn't even have time to eat his lunch due to his busy schedule.

"Dr. Lee, your next appointment is still at 4:40 pm." the nurse said when the patient went out.

Dr. Lee is in his office, doing a check-up. He glanced at his watch and it was already past 2 pm already. "Alright, I got it." He stood up and turned his computer off.

"Are you going to have your meal now, doctor? It's already past lunch, you have to eat something."

"I'm good. I still have to go to the pediatric department. Call me if there's an emergency."

With his unhurried steps, he went to the children's ward. He will be visiting Diane.

It's already been a long time since the last time he saw that child
