Everyone went and touched the stone. But the stone recognised none of them. Rehan went and touched the stone. The stone lit up spreading a dim red light around it. The entire crowd cheered for him.

Now it was Shama’s turn. She hesitantly walked towards the stone. She closed her eyes and touched the stone. There was no commotion at all. She opened her eyes to look.

The stone has shown brightly. It was glowing deep red. It was spreading light miles away. Everyone was shocked to see this. Shama was surprised too. Just then her eyes turned red. The fire was burning in her eyes. A strong wind started blowing. Her dark hair blew with the strong wind. Shama's fangs came out of her mouth.

Her necklace flew in the air. Shama's body started absorbing energy from it. The locket and it turned into a crown with a red ruby on it and sat on the top of her head crowning her as the next hire to the vampire clan.
