“Hmm, here.” Kiara took her friend Cathy's card out of her wallet and passed it to the salesgirl.

Taking that card from her, the salesgirl swiped it accordingly. However even after swiping it thrice, it didn’t work. With an uncomfortable smile, that girl passed it back to Kiara. “Sorry ma’am but your card isn't working.”

“Huh?” Kiara almost explained loudly.

But no matter how many time the girl tried it still didn't work. With disappointment she passed the card back to Kiara's hand. "Sorry ma'am."
