Cathy sneered. "Don't worry. Her honor is not as small as your status."

"All you know is babbling. Anyway, I am not here to do an argument. I am here with my fiance so that I can check on my sister. See if she doing good or not. I know I hurt her a lot. But I really hope that she knows that I don't hate her. You do understand me my little sister right?" Saying that Ria provokingly smiled at Kiara, to which Kiara just ignored her.

"Ha ha ha." Cathy gave a big dry laugh at her words. Disgustingly looking at Ria and Max, Cathy said. "If God also comes down, to say that, even then Kiara won't believe such words."

Ria breathed heavily. Removing her hand from Max's arms, she folded her arms with annoyance. "What are you? Her spokesperson? Don't she have her mouth to talk to me?"

"She is too disgusted by you guys that she didn't want to bother herself with you people." Cathy answered.

It wasn't just because Cathy wanted to insult the couple but she also knows what kind of person Kiara is. One or two tears of Ria and she would forget or even forgive the couple in an instant.

But this time Cathy won't let this happen. She can't let Kiara make fun of herself. That's why before Kiara could say anything to Ria's words Cathy spoke first.

Ria bit her lower lips to stop herself from bolting out. If it was any other time and Max wasn't there, Ria would have lashed out long ago.

However today she already won the race. She didn't want to lose herself because of Cathy's nonsensical words. Today she not just wants to maintain the decorum of the argument but also wants to look all graceful in front of Max. She wanted to show how much better she is than Kiara.

Before Ria could start again, Max standing beside her walked forward and stood in front of Kiara as he spoke with guilt clearly visible in his tone.

"Kiara, can we talk alone? I really want to talk to you. I have wanted to talk to you ever since all this started. But you never came for me. Can we talk now at least?"

Hearing that Kiara's neck tilted a little. Rolling her tongue with amusement she looked at Ria to enjoy her despair look.

Because of Max's words, Ria just got more insulted in front of everyone. Her fiance is actually asking her to leave so that he can talk to his ex-girlfriend to sort out his relationship. Such a big slap on her face.

"What do you mean by this Max!" Ria lost all her fake grace the moment she heard him. She wasn't unaware of Kiara's eyes on her. Although Kiara wasn't smiling or smirking, but her eyes were saying everything. And that brings her all losses back to her.

"Do not create a scene. After what we have done to her she deserves an explanation and my apology. And I don't think that can be possible while you stay here." Max strictly spoke.

Today he came here not because he wanted to apologize to Kiara with Ria, beside him as his fiance. He cared less what others would say, but he wanted to talk to Kiara alone at least for once. He wanted to let out all his feelings for her for the last time.

He knows that Ria only came here so that she can show off and humiliate Kiara openly just to satisfy her ego. He knows her hatred for Kiara from day one. And he doesn't care much about it from the very beginning. As long as he has Kiara by his side he cared less about her side of the story.

"You got to be kidding me. You actually think that you can actually ask for this after what you have done to her?" Cathy unbelievably looked at him. "Don't you have any conscience? I know that you were never a good man let alone a gentleman, but as a human, you still dare to ask for this? Waah such an assh-"

"Cathy." Kiara strictly called her. On her call, Cathy instantly stopped. "How many times have I told you to not use such foul language."

"...sorry." Besides being a kind woman Kiara is also known for her poise and courtesy. She never allows Cathy to cuss in public. In private it's a given thing, but in public, she asks her to never lose her composer until or unless someone touches her bottom line.

Max pursed his lips. Seeing how different and perfect Kiara is, he again felt his loss. Letting go of Kiara will be his biggest guilt and the worst regret of his life.

"Kiara-"

"Max let's stop here." Kiara interrupted before he could say another word.

"Huh?" He confusedly looked at her.

"I know why are you here and why your so-called lover is here. I don't care about your apologies so why don't you leave first because accepting your apology is the last thing I would do in this life."

Hearing that Cathy and Ria happily smiled. Where one was glad to know that her best friend is not letting her down, Ria was happy to know that Kiara is so hurt by them that she isn't able to forgive them. Hurting her badly is all she ever wanted.

"Kiara you know how much I love you." Max firmly said.

"What!!! Max!!!" Ria shouted in anger right away.

"Shut up at once!" Max yelled back. Looking back at Kiara he continued. "I would never leave you if it wasn't for my family's future. No matter what, I can't betray my family for my selfish love. With you, I would never be able to achieve what my father always wanted for me. I am not saying that you are wrong but you are too much ambitious for me to hold. Betraying you were more right to me than betraying my family. I-"
