Chapter 17: Can't we be friends?

"Mrs Ella. Mrs Ella you have to get up." George says squatting before her on the floor. She opens her eyes and sloppily holds his hand for support as she raises her head to look at him.

"Capo George, hii." She giggles as she reaches for his face.

George looks away from her and sighs. He holds her hand and pulls her up but staggers trying to stand well, so he steadies her placing his hands on her back. She holds his shoulder for support and smiles at him.

"Aww." She giggles playing with his cheek. "You're always there when I'm broken. You still like me, huh?" She giggles before she suddenly frowns. "Why don't you just tell William to love me back? Even if it's only for a moment, hmm?" Tears starts to flow down her cheeks and George bit his bottom lips sighing deeply.

Just when would she stop crying because of William? He hates to see her like this.

"Come on now, I'll take you home." He says ignoring what she said and tries to lead her out of the club.

She shakes her head abruptly. "No
