Jeri stood at the entrance of the old clock tower, her heart racing with anticipation and fear. She had no idea what to expect, but she was determined to find Dr. Emiliano, hoping to find her mother as well after this.

Her guards escorted her until she found herself standing at the entrance.

Jeri's allies stopped at a distance, waiting for a signal if anything happened during the meeting.

As Jeri stepped inside, two men dressed in suits stepped forward and stopped her from taking any step further.

Without saying a word, one of the men extended his hand, gesturing for Jeri to handover everything that she came with.

Jeri rolled her eyes without uttering a word as well. She handed her purse to them but didn't give out her phone.

“You can't go with that, madam," one of the men said, pointing at her phone.

“Why?" She asked, her brows furrowed.

“It's an order from our boss. So please give it to us," the young replied, his hand stretched out.

She handed the phone to them, her eyes narrowe
