PROLOGUE

INTRO

Today marked five years since the heir to the billionaire Hendrix family was sent to prison for a crime that shocked the entire nation. A crime so devastating it was buried deep, hidden from the public eye.

But today, he was set to be released.

The world hadn’t forgotten his name. And neither had those who wanted him to pay.

Harry Hendrix, the infamous heir to the billionaire Hendrix family, had spent the last Five years locked away in one of the country’s most secure prisons. Perched uptown, the facility was guarded by three thousand elite policemen—an evidence to the danger he posed to society.

Few dared to speak his name, but everyone knew the truth. Harry Hendrix wasn’t just any criminal; he was a force of nature. And today, that force was about to be unleashed.

Forty cars lined up outside the guarded prison, engines rumbling in the quiet morning. They weren’t just cars—they were waiting for Harry Hendrix.

Five years behind bars, and now, he was about to be free. The prison was surrounded by armed guards, but it didn’t matter. The world knew that Harry, the heir to the Hendrix fortune, was more dangerous than anyone could handle.

Today, everything was about to change.

Harry stepped out of the prison, flanked by two policemen, his hands still cuffed. His tall posture unfolding from the prison doorway commanded attention even under the watchful eyes of the guards. Tattoos snaked across his arms, each one telling a story, while a tiny scar near his eye only added to the dangerous edge of his handsome face.

He didn’t look like a man who’d spent five years in prison. If anything, he looked like he’d been waiting for this moment.

His hands were finally uncuffed, and he let out a dark laugh that echoed through the tense air. His gaze swept over the policemen, a cold, evil glint in his eyes. He was free. He was back, and nothing would stop him now.

He walked towards the car, his steps steady and confident. Inside, his father, Karl Hendrix, was waiting. Karl had always pampered him, giving him whatever he wanted, no questions asked. Today was no different. Harry slid into the back seat, and without a word, the door slammed shut behind him.

"Welcome back, son," Karl Hendrix said, pulling Harry into a tight hug. His voice was warm, full of affection, as he embraced the son he had missed. Despite the years and the crime, Karl's love for Harry had never wavered.

"Thanks, Dad. I knew you wouldn’t let me stay in there," Harry said, his voice rough, like he hadn’t used it in a while. There was a touch of gratitude, but also something deeper—like he’d never doubted his father for a second.

"Now, let's get you home," Karl said, as the cars sped down the road, the city disappearing behind them.

The mansion came into view, its towering gates slowly opening. Outside, the rest of the family waited—his mother and three pretty sisters, all standing together, eyes fixed on the approaching cars.

They welcomed him, smiles and hugs exchanged as they gathered around Harry, eager to have him back.

After Harry had settled in and the family gathered around the dining table, his father cleared his throat. The tension in the air shifted as Karl looked directly at Harry.

"Harry," he began, his voice serious, "your fiancée, Sasha, has withdrawn the wedding plans between you two."

"And?" Harry asked, not bothering to look at his dad, his voice flat as he picked at his food.

"The country granted you parole, Harry," his father continued, his tone stern but filled with concern. "We want you to start a family so they'll think you are a changed man. If not, you might end up right back where you were."

Harry paused for a moment, letting his father's words sink in, then resumed eating without a word.

"Whether you like it or not, you're getting married as soon as possible," Karl said, standing up to leave. There was no room for argument.

"Harry didn't care. He simply continued eating his meal."

"Knowing he was handsome, yet dangerous, many still swooned to be around him."
