CHAPTER 20

I woke up to find myself in rags. I looked around the empty parking lot, trying to recall what happened. Then everything came flooding back quickly. The Chanter twins discovered I was a vampire and set me on fire to kill me. Foolish of them not to know that I couldn't die.

I grumbled to my car and kick-started the engine. It roared smoothly to life and shifted the gear, reversing out of the parking lot. I shifted the gear once more, stomped my foot on the gas pedal, and zoomed out of school in my black Audi.

I couldn't believe they were so brave to stand up against me. They probably didn't know who I was. If they did, they wouldn't have approached me in the first place, knowing I was dangerous, and would have had their head bulldozed off before they could even utter an alphabet.
