"I don't understand?" I asked, puzzled at what Solomon just told me.
He said that he had forgiven me. It was good news to my ears, but I wanted to know why he forgave me after everything I had done to him. I had killed his lover and also stole another from him, which was Hope.
"You have redeemed yourself," he answered. "You have shown me that you are worthy of my forgiveness. You have also shown me that you still have a little good in you."
I still didn't understand what he meant. What was he driving at? That was what was on my mind.
"How?" I asked.
