28: The Breakfast

After a few more minutes of laying down on the grass and watching the moon and the stars, Brye and I decided to go back home. We parted ways again when we were in front of our units, saying our goodnights to each other and getting inside. I did the same routine I do whenever I get back to my unit.

I took my papers out of my bag, previous quizzes, and materials that I have. ‘Magrereview ako kase baka magkaron nanaman ng pahabol na quiz bukas’. I roll my eyes at the series of quizzes we had. The numbers made me dizzy and rethink all my career decisions. I let out a sigh when I sat down in front of my table, opening my desktop. I replied to the few messages my family had sent me. Telling them that I’ll be a bit busy since the quizzes have started and of course, I have a life but I won’t tell them that anyways.

I scribble down notes, methods, and the steps that I need to remember. Then I answered the problems, the equations that I got wrong, staring at the numbers long enough for me to
