Chapter 28

Uno pulled Alena away from Edmund.

"Sir, are you the man sent by Mr. Sandoval to give me a copy of the original marriage contract?" The judge asked.

Uno nodded, and gave it to him. He smiled at her before walking out of the office.

Alena turned back, whipping her tears to see Edmund, looking at the them.

"Are you ready to sign now?" The judge asked hesitantly.

Alena nodded. She took the pen again and signed with trembling hands. She didn't want this to happen, but she's not alone anymore. She have to think about her child.

The judge nodded and gave it up to Edmund who had his jaw clenched looking furious at Uno. He took the pen and looked hesitant. It looked like he was debating with himself. He finally started signing very slowly. Once he was done, he threw the pen away rubbing his temple.

"Well, thank you," The judge said
