"Happy Birthday!"

Alena was woken by her sister and best friend. She groaned and turned, sleeping again until they started jumping on her bed.

"Get up, Sleeping Beauty!" Penelope yelled. "You have to. It's five in the afternoon and it was called weeks ago. So the restaurant would be empty today. It's just going to be us and our friends. Come on!"

When she didn't answer, Penelope hit her with a pillow.

"What the hell? I'm two months pregnant. Don't fucking hit me." She glared at her. "And I said I didn't want a party."

"It's not a party. It's dinner with just a few people. You're twenty-three, single, beautiful, and pregnant. Get your fat ass out of bed," Penelope said, hitting her with the pillow again.

"Fine!" Alena snapped, getting out of bed to take a shower as she heard her sister laugh at them.
