Chapter 35: Parties

Lia's POV

The sleeping pills put me to sleep but didn't make me less tired the next day.

The alarm woke me up the next morning.

"Damn, damn alarm, why did I forget to erase the alarm in my phone," I groaned, trying to sleep again but I couldn't.

I felt like I was mistreated because I was tired of lacking sleep, but couldn't sleep. Suffering from the headache, I went to a cafe where was close to our hotel to work.

I ran into Ivor after leaving the cafe. He apologized to me. What did he mean? Wasn't it all over?

I saw the confusion in his eyes and was amazed. I had to have seen it wrong.

Ivor was never confused. Arrogance was one of his seductive traits. It wasn't born out of disregard for others, but because of the upstream blood flowing through his body. That made his arrogance different and attractive.
