Chapter 66: Pregnant test strips

I kept silent, started eating that nice sandwich. I tried to hypnotize myself that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant.

But I immediately dropped the sandwich and said, "Damn it," as soon as I realized that Aunt Flo hadn't visited me in three months. I was too busy to notice it. Maybe I wasn't expecting Aunt Flo's visit, so I never cared too much about my period.

My screams startled Lilianna, and she said, “What's going on?” And she looked worried about me.

I stood up, a little confused, “No, I'm ok.”

"Really? You just shouted,” she said.

I clenched my hand, trying to calm down, “Of course, I'm ok. I just realized I made some mistakes in my report. And I handed it over to my boss without realizing them.”

I carefully watched Lilianna's face, it was weird as she smiled and gave me a suspicious look.

What did her expression mean? Did she know I was lying or do I feel stupid not to be able to recognize my mistake?

She shrugged, “Don't worry too much.”

I laughed, “Yeah.”
