Love Replacement (English)

"Deon!" I shouted his name but he still didn't look at me.

Fuck. What did he think? That it is not difficult for me? I’m also hurting! He always ignores and insults me but I don’t show it because I want to be firm and I don’t want to show him I love him because that’s not in the contract.

"Deon, let me explain—" I couldn't continue what I was about to say when he approached me and pointed at me.

"Shut up. I don't need your explanation," he answered coldly and closed the door on me.

I was left here in front of our big house.

"Fuck, Deon! Let me in! That's your brother so how can I like him? Am I crazy?!"

I still haven't received an answer. I knocked repeatedly but he wouldn't open it. My foot hurts because of these fucking heels.

"Deon, please! I'm begging you!"

I stayed there for hours. I've done everything but he still won't let me in. When he is angry he does it and locks himself in the room, working out or drawing some houses.

It was late at night when he let me in.

"Deon, I just wanted to say that—"

"Stop it! Didn't I say I don't want to hear your explanation?!" He angrily said. He was already eating while I was just standing in front of him. He did not prepare me, the plate lying on the table was just for him.

"Why do you keep acting like this? How long, Deon? How long will you be like this—fuck! I hate this life! I wish I hadn't just married you!"

I picked up the plate he was eating and dropped it on the floor. I don't care. Even if you get mad at me, you deserve this Deon! It's all your fault why am I hurting now!

"You're always hurting my heart, and only your brother understands me! Then now you'll be jealous?!"

"No. I'm not jealous."

He stood up. His eyes were bloodshot, hair is very wet because he just finished showering.

"You are!"

"Stop it, Perlm," he tried to be calm.

But for me? I don't want to be calm anymore, I'm tired! I am fed up with the treatments he gives!

"Stop?" I grinned, taking the picture frame of the two of them with Meghan that was displayed in the living room.

"Stopping is what you want, huh?" I broke that frame because instead of our frame, it was a photo of the two of them.

"Oh! There! I'm going to stop!" I sobbed. I covered my face in rage.

He wanted to change, I thought I could change him, but no. He's still the same. He’s still the man with a closed heart and doesn’t want to replace Meghan.

"I hate you," I said wearily.

"I hate you more," he said softly so I looked at him.

He was holding the frame that had broken. His hand is bleeding and his eye is swollen.

I hate seeing him crying, but I get annoyed when I always find out he’s crying over her dead ex-girlfriend Meghan.

"He's dead, Deon..."

He shook his head and looked at me. "I will never forget her. She will never be replaced here in my heart..." I could see anger and hatred in his eyes but he remained calm.

I became hopeless because of that. I hope I can't read his expression because it hurts me especially when I see how he looks at me. He hates me to no end.

"No one can replace her, not even you, whore."
