It was only now that Irvin understood it didn't matter what the actual reality was. To me, the image he had portrayed when in public was the greatest kind of hurt.

Irvin no longer had any right over me, but it still pained him to see the news. Back then, he had visited Fabledom with Julianne and spoiled her in various ways. Honestly, he didn't dare imagine how much pain I must have been in at the time.
