Vivian sat across from Jerry in the dimly lit restaurant, fidgeting with her napkin on the table. She took a deep breathas she looked up at him. "So, why do you want me back, Jerry?" she asked, her voice cool and distant.

Jerry shifted uncomfortably in his seat, his eyes flickering between her and the menu card. "I,uh...I realized that the way I treated you was bad. I wasn't the best husband, and I didn't treat you with the respect and love that you deserved," he finally said, his voice low and apologetic.

Vivian let out a dry laugh, her eyes glinting with anger. "You think that just admitting your mistake and apologizing will solve everything, Jerry?"

"No, of course not," Jerry replied quickly, shaking his head. "I know I messed up, Vivian. I know that I hurt you, and I'm sorry."
