Chapter 33

Jerry and Vivian made their way back home from their dinner party. The atmosphere in the car was an odd one as Vivian was curious about themystery package that Jerry had mentioned. She looked over at him, trying to catch a glimpse of the object, but Jerry just smiled and kept driving.

Finally, they arrived home and Jerry immediately took Vivian to their bedroom. He had a bigsmile on his face as he handed her the package.

"Open it," he said.

Vivian excitedly tore through the wrapping paper and inside was a job offer letter. She quickly scanned over it and saw that it was for a position in a marketing firm. She couldn't believe it. She had been wanting to leave her position as a secretary at Leo's company for a while now, but she never thought she would end up in a marketing job.

Overwhelmed with happiness, Vivian hugged Jerry tightly.
