29-Unexpected Visitors
Everyone started shifting and running into battle with the warriors. Killian ordered all untrained women and children to the secure floor for lockdown.

It has been weeks since Lucy left with the rogue king. It was really waring on Axel and Killian. Axel had never been without her since they were ten years old. They spent every waking hour together. Lucy couldn't sleep. The dark witch had arrived, and Ellen would not be here until morning, before the full moon, but witches were still not usually trustworthy. They worked for themselves with no loyalty. Ellen was different. She was raised to be good. Even if they didn't like the things Aunt Bonnie hid, she was still doing the right things. LUCY Today was the day—my big Luna ceremony. I was still processing everything that had happened. I turned 18 became Luna to a rogue pack for all of an hour before giving it away. KILLIAN Today was going to be a great day! Finally, Lucy would officially be my Luna. The pack already loved her like their Luna. She was kind, thoughtful and intelligent. She knew how to talk to pack members and how to listen to them. All the things I never learned how to do. I fought through my pain, making me a strong Alpha but definitely not a great Alpha. Lucy was soaking her body in the hot spring where Killian and her marked each other. Her muscles were sore from running so far so fast. She thought about running away. Forgetting this life and becoming someone else, but she couldn't leave Axel and Lanie with no explanation. How do you reject someone you already let mark you. LUCY My nightmares had only gotten worse since my vision at the hot spring.
