"Moriah," I muttered, and she stared at me, startled.

One thing I would not have believed even if I was told at any point earlier than this, was that I was going to meet Moriah not just in Carlton city but in Peng Technology, a company I had my eyes on.

While she stayed with me, she was a staunch housewife that did not even step out into the outside world frequently. The workers did most of the shopping duties, and then she was left inside, suffocating in the locked walls of my mansion.

My little mind refused to accept she was a staff there, so I raised my chin to her. Squinting my eyes, "what are you doing here?" I asked.

After all, there were cases of people who went about trying to gum themselves to CEO's of big companies. I for one, have experienced it in the major part of my life. Besides, why did she have to jump, I thought internally with my eyes taking me to the window that was opened far above.
