Hailey I scream out while running after the SUV but it's no good I can't catch up to it so instead I stop at the gate and I watch as the SUV roars out of sight. Gamma Ashley The BBQ/ summer party is in full swing and I have to admit I'm having the best time. We never had anything like this back at my old pack. Don't get me wrong we had balls for certain occasions but that was it and when we had them we had to act the part in other words, Alpha Roland wanted us to act perfect and stuck up and I hated it. This party however was out of this world different. Gamma Jack The sound of loud snarls and growls breaking out pulls my attention away from what's happening with Alpha Colton and Britney. I look toward the forest and the deafening growls bounce off of the forest walls giving me a sinking feeling deep down in my stomach and having Taz quickly become alert. Suddenly I see wolves pile through the forest at lightning speed. They are heading our way and looking seriously pissed and seriously ready to kill. Fuck here we go! "Who are you?" Cal shouts out. I keep my focus on the herd of wolves that are heading our way as he speaks but I don't see any of them stop or even slow down. "Who are you? What do you want?" Cal bellows out. I still haven't taken my eyes off the wolves heading our way but thankfully I soon see one wolf that's at the front stop and every one of them stops straight away. The wolf at the front of the herd shifts into his human form while another two of the wolves follow him in shifting and come to stand on either side

Gamma Ashley Before either Britney or I can make a move he storms at us. He looks like he's going for Britney but luckily at the last second, he turns towards me which I'm glad of. I'd much rather he comes at me instead of her. Unfortunately for him, I already suspected that he would make this move and I'm ready for him. I may be small but I can fight. He storms towards me and instantly aims for my neck, fucking rookie mistake. I get down low on my stomach and he's going so fast that he can't stop himself and he jumps over me. I'm quick to get back up on my paws and I start barreling toward him before he even has time to turn around. Gamma Jack The pounding in my heart and shivers running through my spine tells me that an Alpha has died but I want to cry with relief when I don't feel the pain that I would if it had been my Alpha.
