Gamma Jack The sound of loud snarls and growls breaking out pulls my attention away from what's happening with Alpha Colton and Britney. I look toward the forest and the deafening growls bounce off of the forest walls giving me a sinking feeling deep down in my stomach and having Taz quickly become alert. Suddenly I see wolves pile through the forest at lightning speed. They are heading our way and looking seriously pissed and seriously ready to kill. Fuck here we go! "Who are you?" Cal shouts out. I keep my focus on the herd of wolves that are heading our way as he speaks but I don't see any of them stop or even slow down. "Who are you? What do you want?" Cal bellows out. I still haven't taken my eyes off the wolves heading our way but thankfully I soon see one wolf that's at the front stop and every one of them stops straight away. The wolf at the front of the herd shifts into his human form while another two of the wolves follow him in shifting and come to stand on either side

Gamma Ashley Before either Britney or I can make a move he storms at us. He looks like he's going for Britney but luckily at the last second, he turns towards me which I'm glad of. I'd much rather he comes at me instead of her. Unfortunately for him, I already suspected that he would make this move and I'm ready for him. I may be small but I can fight. He storms towards me and instantly aims for my neck, fucking rookie mistake. I get down low on my stomach and he's going so fast that he can't stop himself and he jumps over me. Gamma Jack The pounding in my heart and shivers running through my spine tells me that an Alpha has died but I want to cry with relief when I don't feel the pain that I would if it had been my Alpha. Gamma Jack "You killed the Alpha, baby?" There's no way I just heard that right surely. "Hmm yep." He looks shy as he answers but my emotions are torn. On the one hand, I'm insanely proud of him for killing an Alpha as they are incredibly hard to kill. Usually, the only ones to kill an Alpha are another Alpha or maybe a Beta so for a Gamma to do that is insane and incredible. However, on the other hand, I'm fucking furious that he went up against an Alpha knowing that there was a good chance that he could have been killed. "Fuck, why the hell did you put yourself up against an Alpha Ash? Do you have a death wish?" My voice is rising with my anger but I can't control it. "You should never have done that. What if he had killed you huh? What then?" "I had no choice, Jack!" Gamma Ashley Where the fuck is that bitch? I start to look around frantically but there are so many wolves here that it's hard to pinpoint anyone. "Shit... where the hell is she?" Jack spits out as he narrows his eyes while scanning the herd of wolves surrounding us. "All my pack members I want you to search the entire forest for Hailey. She is a danger to more than one of our members and more importantly, she's a danger to our Kelly, I know you are all with me when I say we won't stand for it and she must be found NOW!" Cal bellows out. The whole forest is drowned in the howls and agreeing responses of our members and it fills me with pride that I'm a part of this pack and gratitude for the love and protectiveness that they are all showing my sister. "I want every inch of this place searched. Every tree, rock, and fucking piece of grass. Don't leave anything past you and link me, Beta Liam, Gamma Jack, or Gamma Ashley if you find her or anything that can help us here." Cal's ton

Gamma Ashley "Alpha Colton, I appreciate all the help that you have given us today and I want you to know that it won't be forgotten. If you ever need anything please get in touch. I think that there's a good chance that Ashley is right and I need to get my men back to the pack house asap to be on the safe side so this is where we part ways." Cal's tone is rushed but still friendly and grateful. "I'm sorry Alpha Calvin but that won't be happening, we won't be parting ways here." Alpha Colton has a serious look on his face leaving me and everyone around me confused by his words. "I don't understand, why not?" Cal asks with a slight look of frustration. "It won't be happening because we will be coming with you. We will fight at your side for as long as it takes. I can't walk away from this situation not knowing if this little girl is safe or not. Any of my members that don't wish to carry on are welcome to head back with no hard feelings but for those willing, we will follow you."

Gamma Jack I don't know what that dickheads playing at but the hollow feeling in my stomach isn't helping. Why the fuck would he let the women out of the safe room and take Kelly? Why would he say he's a warrior and that Ash linked him when he's not one nor can he link anyone? Hell, he's not even a member of the pack. "Ash I want you to go and check your floor just in case they are there and there's some fucked up explanation for this behavior. Take Jack and a couple of warriors with you." Cal's in Alpha mode and ready to issue out orders. "Ok Alpha." Ash sends him a nod before looking my way. "Tom and Jason you're with us." The guys nod my way before falling into line behind Ashley and me. "She had better be up here, I don't care what his explanation is, I just need her to be there Jack." My mate's sad look breaks my fucking heart and I wish I could promise him that she is there but we both know that there's a good chance that she's not. "Whatever happens we will find her Ash.
