Chapter 23: Arrival Of The Aunt
I stood up from the bed, the time on the clock across from my bunk bed reads 6:00 am. I shrugged off the duvet, it's been a while since I last woke up this early but since I couldn't sleep a wink last night, it was almost right that I stood up from the bed instead of pretending to be asleep.
I quickly took a shower surprised to see that everyone was up and busy with their morning chores. The door opened as soon as I finished wearing my uniform and setting my cap gently on my head.
I turned to see Maria entering with the rest of everyone “ Good morning,” I greeted them forcing a smile on my face. Seeing that Maria was watching me with concern on her face.
