Chapter 44: Grandmother Willow's Visit

I heard Valerie gasping as she made it to enter the mansion. We were just returning from the store and I was beyond tired and angry. Angry that Victor ignored me but paid attention to whatever it was that Valerie did.

Though I was glad to see him hating her at first but it soon turned weird. How could he have mistreated her like that? I thought he liked her. Something was definitely not, right? I have to find it.

“Grandmother. What are you doing here?” I heard Valerie exclaim in shock as she went into the house. I rushed to follow behind her leaving Victor to look at me in shock.

Immediately I got into the room, Grandmother Willow was smiling at Valerie as she pulled her into her embrace. I frown at her gesture. I really dislike my grandmother; she was one of the people who made my childhood a living hell.
