CHAPTER LVI: RISK

Cloud’s POV

“Alright, I’ll give you five minutes to finish solving the problem on the board.” Said our lecturer after she wrote so many equations on the board that I can’t even understand.

If only Angela is still here. It would probably be better. She can teach me how to solve those complicated problems and also help me understand the lessons that I can’t comprehend.

Now that I thought of Angela.. I remembered that day that I asked her if she likes Lucifer too..

“You don’t like Lucifer, do you?” I asked her.

I noticed that she was utterly smitten by my question. “I-I don’t like Lucifer, Cloud. He’s just my friend.” She answered while averting her eyes.

“Is that true?” I asked while looking straight into her eyes.

She seems to get awkward. “O-Of course.”

I didn't ask any follow questions because just hearing the tone of her voice gives me a clear answer to my question.
