Angela’s POV
I am currently rummaging our cabinet to find some clothes to wear. It’s my off today and Lucifer asked me to have a dinner with him. He didn’t go to our house for a week now that’s why I thought he’s still upset with me but then Christine said that he went here yesterday and asked her to tell me to meet him at the Fiona’s Coffee Shop today.
“Angela, you should dress beautifully. It’s your first date, right?” Christine said to me while helping me rummage through the cabinet.
I saw a white polo shirt with a knitted red rose on its upper right collar. “It’s not a date that you think it is. We’re just friends.” I hold the polo shirt higher for me to see its length. “What do you think about this?” I asked her.
Christine looked at me teasingly. “Yeah, right. FRIENDS. That’s where it all starts.” She took the shirt from me and looked at it with disgust on her face. “Seriously, Angela? You’re going to wear this at your date with the next King? Do you
Angela’s POV“Ah!! Poor Hachiko..” I was crying when we left the cinema.I just can’t help myself from being a crybaby whenever I watch or see a dog getting hurt or dying.“That was just a movie. Stupid.” Lucifer said to me.I sniffed and wiped the tears in my eyes. “I know but that’s just too tragic for such a wonderful dog like him. He died waiting for his owner without knowing that he would never come back again.”“Fucking crybaby.” Lucifer hissed. He suddenly held my hand as he walked towards the mall’s exit and I only realized that he was actually holding my hand when we reached the parking lot. I was looking at our hands the whole time until he asked me to get inside the car.“We’re going to eat now. I’m fucking hungry.”“O-Okay..”He drove off and stopped in front of a luxurious restaurant. He already ordered some food too.“That dress.”I looked at him when he suddenly broke the a
Angela’s POVIt’s been three weeks now since the last time that I met Lucifer. Since the last time that he asked me if I like him too and since the last time that I told him that I only see him as one of my friends which I now regret.“Honeypie, are you going with us?” Tristan asked while I’m fixing his bowtie.“Huh? No, I can’t. Besides, it’s a family reunion so that means only members of your family is invited to come.” I replied.Tristan is a real good-looking boy wearing his suit. He looks like a prince and he really resemble his father.“But, you’re a part of our family honeypie. You should come with us.” He insisted.I looked at him once I’m done fixing his suit. I combed his hair using my fingers. “My honeypie is really handsome!” I said, trying to stop him from pleading for me to come with them.“Come on, Angela. You should come with us.” Ma’am Haley suddenly appeared wearing a pink dress with gold flowers embellishments spiced u
Angela’s POV“Angela, can I talk with you for a while?” Ma’am Haley suddenly called me while I’m letting Tristan sleep. I just glanced at Tristan then I followed Ma’am Haley outside.“Have a seat.” Ma’am Haley said to me as soon as we arrived inside her personal office here in their house.I sat down and looked at her.She leaned towards me and reached for my hand on the top of her desk. “Do you have a problem?” she asked with a worried look on her face.I was surprised at her sudden question and quickly shook my head. “I-I don’t have m-ma’am..”She sighed and even looked worried. “Angela, I know I don’t have the right to ask you about your personal problems but I just want you to know how much I care for you. You can always trust me about the things that bugs you. I’m willing to listen.”“Thank You so much, Ma’am Haley.. B-But I’m really okay..”“Lately, I notice that you don’t smile the same anymore, you’re not as enthusiastic as
Angela’s POV“Christine, I don’t have to wear something extravagant anymore. What’s important is for me to be able to stop Lucifer from leaving.”“Come on, Angela. Lucifer’s flight will be at ten and it’s still eight here. Besides, you have to look good if you want him to stay with you. You can’t just show up there wearing some clothes that looks like rags. He might even rush to leave upon seeing you like that.” She kidded.I just sighed while she’s fixing the dress that I’m wearing.“Okay, this is what you’re going to do, okay? Once you stepped inside the airport, go look for him and yell his name. You have to shout as loud as you can for him to be able to hear you. And when he finally show up, you have to run towards him and hug him tightly. Make him feel the longing that you felt upon not seeing him for a long time. Tears will begin running down your face while you’re telling him not to go anymore because you love him so much. Then you’ll be look
Angela’s POVIt’s been a week now since Lucifer left to go to Canada. And I’m here, together with my siblings and Christine in a park. We decided to go here because the children told me that they want to play here.“Mama, can we buy some ice cream?” asked Mary.“Huh? Of course. Just don’t go too far okay? Here’s the money. Hercules, look after your sister, okay?’“Yes, Mama!”I watched them as they ran together towards the ice cream shop.My siblings grew up too fast. If only mother and father are still here, I know they would be so happy to see them.“Angela.”I was a bit surprised when Christine suddenly called me. “Huh?”“Don’t you miss Prince Lucifer?” she asked. My heart started beating fast as soon as I heard his name. Now I can feel the longing and the sadness of missing him so much again. I heaved a sigh and looked at Christine who’s just sitting next to me. “Of course, I miss him so much. I really do..”
Angela’s POV“Honeypie, I have something to tell you.” Tristan suddenly called me while I was cleaning his room. I picked up the crumpled papers on the floor and looked at him. “Yes? What is it?”He’s fixing his own bed since I told him to do it. “There’s a girl in the neighborhood who always give me candies and always telling me that she likes me.”“Oh really? That’s so sweet of her.”“But I don’t like her.”“Huh? But why?”He arranged his pillows on the bed and sat on it. “She’s not as pretty as you and mommy.”“Huh? You shouldn’t say that, Tristan. I’m sure she’s pretty. Besides, you can still be friends right?”“We can..” he swung his feet on the bed.“That’s good. You know what? I also had a best friend before when I was just about your age.”“Really honeypie? Is it a boy?”I nodded. “Yes, and he’s so nice and we are so close with each other back then.”“Where is he now?”I suddenly felt sad
Angela’s POV“Oh My God, Angela. Don’t you think that’s your long-lost childhood best friend?” Christine widened her eyes at me.I shook my head. “That’s impossible, Christine. That Carlo is way too far from my best friend’s attitude.”Christine sipped her coffee. “That’s possible. You know, people change. Perhaps he realized that being a good boy is boring so he just decided to be a bastard.”I suddenly realized that Christine must be right. “But it’s impossible that he can forget about me..”“Well, you have a point. If that’s your Carlo, then he would probably be able to recognize you even if you don't see each other for centuries.”“Uhm.”But maybe that’s what Carlo really did, he forgotten about me already. Maybe he just forget about me and his promises. Maybe he's already happy from where he is. Well, if that's what really happened, there's no way that I'll get mad at him.“By the way, is there any news about your super-
Angela’s POVI’m here again at Lucifer’s office to give some papers to his secretary from Ma’am Haley.“Angela!!”I stopped walking when I heard a familiar voice called my name. “Carlo.”Carlo smiled at me when I saw him. “You’re here again.”I smiled at him. “Yeah, I have some papers again to give to the director’s secretary.” I said as I showed him the envelop where the papers are tucked inside.“Oh, but the director’s secretary isn’t there yet.”“Oh, really? Then maybe I should just come back here later—“We can have a coffee while waiting for her. There’s a vending machine there and those coffee are delicious.”“I-I’m sorry Carlo but—“Come on, Angela. You rejected my offer last time too, right?” he pouted. My conscience suddenly bugged me and I realized how rude that was off me to not to accept his coffee.I heaved a sigh. “Alright then.”“Yes!” he exclaimed. Then we marched towards the vending
