Chapter 10

Adira’s POV

When dinner was over I felt a bit of relief as we got up to leave the table. I felt like everyone’s eyes were on me, especially after Alpha Liam had told the she wolf that he wouldn’t be joining them on a run tonight because of another engagement and I had to wonder what the other engagement was.

“We can watch a movie tonight in my room, if you would like.” Lyra says to me as we go to move out of the dining room but we were stopped by Alpha Liam.

“Go upstairs and change and meet me at the training area in ten minutes.” Alpha Liam said to me, as he moved past me and down a hallway.

Looking at Lyra, I said, “Raincheck.”

“It’s fine. I am sure he just wants to test your abilities. Maybe if its not to late we can still watch a movie.” Lyra said to me with hope, as we began to climb the stairs.

“Sure, that would be great.” I said to her as we came to our floor and Lyra stopped at a door and said, “This is me. If you get back in time, just knock.”
