Chapter 11

"Adrian is here to see you."

I didn't speak for a moment. I could feel the anger boiling inside me slowly at the mention of his name. What did he want with me? Did he come here to make a mockery of me?

Wait, no. I couldn't think that just yet.

Everything he did to me happened in my past life, so now I have the chance to find out how long he'd been planning his betrayal. I had to act friendly and fool him into thinking I was on his side.
