That was a close call, I shuddered to think what explanation I would have come up with had Alpha Hunter seen me on the floor with those files open. There was no way I would have been able to explain that and I was unsure what he would have done.

I returned to the pack house with a pounding yet disappointed heart. I didn't know exactly what it was. I was looking for all I knew was I would know it when I saw it and at least it would give me some clarity but now I was left feeling more confused.
