Amalthea's pov

"We'll finish this conversation later." Mikayla informed me as she rushed after the man but curiosity got the better of me and I followed behind them. We made our way into the infirmary where the man was laid down and the pack doctor began treating his wounds.

"What are you doing here?" Mikayla asked when she noticed me behind her.

"I wanted to know what was going on," I shrugged.

"You shouldn't be here." She announced as the man writhed in pain when the pack doctor cleaned his wounds with some spirits. His face was bloodied and I couldn't make out his features.

"I'm a part of this pack aren't I?" I retorted and Mikayla just rolled her eyes in response.

"What happened to him?" Mikayla asked the men who had brought him in at the same time the doors tore open and Nic walked into the room.
