*Arielle's Pov*

"Goodnight" Ryan bade as he got into his car. "Goodnight" I smiled. I stood, watching him leave before heading into my room.

"Let me out!" I yelled in my head. A smile voluntarily played on my lips. "Fine" My wolf said and my eyes widened.

What? 'fine' how do we switch?

"Hi" I said to no one in particular and my voice came out. My eyes widened. Oh my god, I'm back, I have control now. How was that possible? My wolf was barely a day old and she could block me out? Did things work like that.

I sat on the bed, leaning further to the headboard. "Hi.." I said in my head. I got no response. "Do you not like me, Wolfie?" I asked. I had so many questions I wanted to ask her.

Why did she refuse to show up all these while, why she came then left that day, why she chose to appear today, and would she leave again?

I had so many things to ask, and so I did, in my head. But she chose to reply to just one.

"My name is Arya" My wolf responded. Nevertheless, I was excited. I found my wolf after seventeen years, I was no more the weak omega everyone had painted me to be. I now have a wolf. I wanted to scream, out loud and dance, but I couldn't.

My wolf seemed not as excited as I was, I could feel her. She only sat in my head, curling her tail around her legs.

"Arya, please answer all my questions" I pleaded.

"Fine" I heard her grunt.

"I'm Arya, and I've been here for seventeen years, I came that day and left cause I wanted to" Arya simply grumbled. My eyes widened.

"What?!" I yelled.

"You've been here since I was a kid?" I asked, unbelievably.

"Since you were born" She corrected. My eyes widened. I was born with a wolf?

"Of course idiot, all werewolves are born with their wolves, we only awaken at a particular age. You're not special" Arya grinned in my head. My brows deepened. Why was she mocking me?

"You're supposed to be my wolf, why are you so cocky and mean to me?" I asked, obviously annoyed.

"Well, let's see, for one, you're weak, too soft, your face- too pretty and soft, I don't like it. You're totally different from me..

"And secondly, your taste in men, ughh.." she faked a vomiting sound.

"It's horrible." She yawned. My forehead creased in confusion as I registered every of her words.

"You don't like how I look?" I asked.

"Well, won't say I don't really do, I mean you're pretty, I could get him with that, but you look too soft, I'm fierce, you're like a totally different version of me" She said.

"What do you look like? How fierce are you? When can I see you?" I asked, now getting excited..imagine if my wolf turns out to be strong, oh my god.

"Well no." She said at once, shutting out every happy thought I had of seeing my wolf.

"Why?" I asked at once.

"You'll need to earn me- I have to see you work towards it, how much you truly need me, I need to see it, and secondly, you're still too weak to contain me, you would break in an instant if I decided to come out" She said, proudly, I could practically see the smug on her face, except I had no idea what she looked like.

My brows creased in confusion. "H..how? I'm very confused." I said, my mind, hazy and unclear.

"Yeah right? Just go to sleep for now, you'll catch on as the day goes by" She simply said and shut herself out. I couldn't feel her again and then I got scared and panicked.

"Arya! Arya!" I called but got no response.

"Arya please.." I pleaded. I couldn't afford her leaving me again, it would do more damage than it did last time.

"Huhh, you're so annoying" She grunted and I let out a deep relieved sigh. "I thought you left again" I said slowly.

"Well, I can decide too" She simply said. "But I don't want you to. What can I do to make you stay forever?" I asked, my voice broke.

"Oh please, you're so extra. And practically I'm stuck with you forever, you don't have to worry about me leaving, I would always be here, probably just shut you out or something " She replied.

"Why did you do that? When Aiden.. " My eyes widened. "Was Aiden?.. was he.. was he our mate?" I stuttered, my eyes widened as each second passed by.

Arya huffed. "Yeah he was, of course I couldn't let him claim us, so I left, and if you had no wolf, there's no bond to feel and there's nothing to claim" She said and my eyes widened.

"Arya!" I snapped. "What?" She snapped back.

"How could you do that?!" I asked, tears now rolling down my cheeks.

"And there she goes, crying over that dimwit" She mocked. "What?" My eyes shot up.

"You don't get it? I don't like him, nor his wolf. I like Kaelis instead She said, I could feel her smiling at the last sentence. My brows raised.

"What? Who? Who's Kaelis?" I asked.

"You other best friend's wolf? Gosh, you're so dull, you don't even know your Best friend's wolf name." She shook her head. "What a shame" She clicked her tongue.

Um, wait, what's going on? I got up from the bed, now pacing around in the room.

"Wait, you purposely confused Aiden.."

"Allytis." She corrected..I raised my brows. "Who..."

"Aiden's wolf!" She snapped.

"Oh, so." I shook my head anyways.

"You confused Aiden's wolf, and left at the last minute, then made his choose a chosen mate as his mate, when truly we were his mate?" I asked, unable to wrap my head around this whole thing.

And she did the most unbelievable thing ever. She clicked her tongue, then nodded "Yes" She said, like it was nothing.
