"Damn trash!" one of the club's security guards cursed as he roughly dragged the drunk man by the arm. The man stumbled, almost falling several times, but the guard didn't care. "You're drunk, and now you're causing trouble. Do you want to start a fight?"

The man mumbled incoherently, trying to resist, but his actions were weak and feeble. "What are you doing? Huh? Are you blind? He hit me first! He's the one who started it! You saw it yourself!"

"Shut up!" the other guard barked, shoving the man's shoulder against the wall, sending him staggering. "You've caused enough trouble already. This is a club, a place for fun, not for your nonsense."

The man tried to speak again, but his slurred words only served to further irritate the guards.

"You really want more trouble?" The guard's patience was wearing thin. He grabbed the man's arm even tighter and growled, "Fine, we'll take it outside."

Without further ado, the two guards dragged the man toward the exit. They shoved him through the do

Estelle's footsteps sounded light on the restaurant floor, but not because she was feeling calm. Her mind was shrouded in fog and confusion. She moved without direction, driven only by instinct and the desperate need to escape. Her breaths were short and sharp, each one pressing harder against her chest. When she finally stepped outside, the bustling street stretched out before her. Yet the world felt muted. The sound of traffic and chatter faded into a distant hum. Her thoughts were elsewhere, replaying Lennon’s kiss and the emptiness it had left behind — nothing like the mark of love it had once been.Estelle’s fingers brushed her lips as if searching for the warmth that used to bloom whenever Lennon touched her. But all she found was cold: an icy numbness that slowly crept through her chest and clenched around her heart. The sharp ring of her phone jolted her back to reality. She blinked and fumbled for the device inside her bag. The name fl

Estelle was rooted to the spot in shock. Her body went rigid as if all her strength had been sapped by Lennon’s words. The world around her faded; she could see only Lennon, sitting across from her with that unrelenting gaze. But no words came. Lennon remained silent, as though deliberately giving her space to think, to find the right words, or perhaps… to confess.Inside Estelle’s chest, turmoil raged. Every breath felt heavy. She wanted to be honest, to tell Lennon everything and finally reveal all her secrets, but her courage faltered when she thought of the risks that honesty would bring. If Estelle spoke, the future could shift beyond her control. If she revealed everything, the chain of time and events might collapse, paving the way for a catastrophe she could never foresee. She knew only too well that one wrong step could destroy not only herself, but also everyone she loved: Roland, Gloria, Kiara and even Lennon.“I&hellip

Are you going to be honest with me, Estelle? The question echoed in Lennon's mind as his gaze remained fixed on Estelle. He studied every detail of her expression—the hazy look in her eyes, the trembling of her fingers. He also noticed how she kept biting her lower lip. Estelle looked utterly shocked and shaken, but that wasn't enough to dispel the two possibilities that lingered in his mind—whether her reaction was genuine or merely an act.His lips remained tightly sealed. Lennon resisted the urge to sneer. It was ironic, but to him Estelle spoke in such a sincere tone, as if everything she said was the truth, while reality told a different story. How can you behave like this, Estelle? How can you look me in the eye and speak as if you didn't have a single secret to hide?A cold sensation crept into his chest. A wave of anger coursed through him, mixing with the disappointment that was becoming harder and harder to ignore.

Estelle's world seemed to stop spinning. A simple question from Lennon hit her like a storm, shattering every defence she had built up. Her eyes widened, unable to hide the shock that hit her. A tightness spread through her chest, as if all the air in the room had suddenly vanished.Estelle froze, staring at Lennon, searching for a clue. She tried to decipher the emotion behind his dark gaze—was it anger, doubt or something else entirely?"Estelle," Lennon called again, his voice lower but still full of pressure. "Answer my question."The shock was overwhelming. Lennon's insistence only confirmed Estelle's worst fear—his doubt. A bitter smile crossed her lips as she let out a trembling whisper, barely believing what she was hearing. "What? Are you questioning my feelings, Lennon?"Lennon was silent. He didn't answer. His sharp gaze remained fixed on her, waiting for the answer she had yet to give.A tremor ran through Estelle's fingers
