LUCIEN’S POV

Enraged was an understatement for how I felt.

I stared at Alisha, my blood boiling as it ran through my veins. I was angry, mad, disgusted, irritated but most of all, was regretful.

I must have lost my mind when I agreed to the moon goddess’ arrangement to have our bodies switched and this whole moment was more than enough realization. I was insane. For a while, I was no different from a lunatic.

What was I thinking? That things would go easily if Alisha was the Alpha? That she wouldn’t make my life miserable?

I was wrong and I should have known all along but instead, I was blinded by the fear of death. Only to be plunged into a life that was no different from death itself.
